Ice Cream Wrist Warmers

Knit ice cream wrist warmers with this easy pattern in chocolate, strawberry, mint and vanilla shades of yarn. This pattern works with soft Aran and double knit. I used small amounts of each yarn so this is handy for using up scraps of wool.

With right sides together fold the wrist warmer over and use yarn to stitch the side seam leaving a gap for the thumb. Do this by sewing from the bottom of the rib cuff up the side of the warmer (sew from the bottom of the chocolate yarn to end of the blue yarn. This is approximately 4 inches (10cm). Leave a gap. Then sew 1 1/4 inches (3cm) from the top down.

Turn the wrist warmer right sides out.

Make two of these.

Ice Cream Cones:

Make four small pom poms — chocolate, mint, strawberry and vanilla.
Use the template outline and cut four pieces of felt for the cones.
Sew the felt cones on to the wrist warmers.
Sew the pom poms on top of the cones.
