Silver White Muff

silver white muff 2

Here is the pattern for a muff that is ideal for the party season or chilly evenings when you want to look glam but stay cosy. If, like me, you wear cocktail rings and bracelets on special party nights, wearing gloves isn’t practical. The muff is handy because I can put my hands in without having to fuss with my rings and it keeps my hands toasty during a cold night out.

You will need:

White baby Aran yarn. (Approx 50g).
Silver metallic yarn. (Approx 50g).
Knitting needles size 4.5mm (UK 7. US 7).

Method:

Cast on 35 stitches using the white yarn.
Knit rows of garter stitch (knit stitches, no purl) until the work measures 7 inches (18cm).
Bind off.
Repeat with the silver yarn.

With right sides together, sew the two pieces together along the top and bottom edges to form the muff. Use white or silver yarn for sewing.
Turn right sides out.
