Story:

She also meets Fergus, a gorgeous bespoke tailor who makes Brodan’s expensive suits. Story:

She has the spring and summer to try and build up her bakery business and make it work. Baking bread is her favourite — fresh crusty bread, white bloomers, whisky loaves and tea bread, along with pink-iced sticky buns.

Romance isn’t part of her business plan, but then Shawn the local eye candy and boat repair man, and Campbell the owner of the mansion on the large country estate, vie for her affections. And April has to decide which side her bread is buttered.

In the beautiful seaside town with its local gossips and scandalmongers, there’s only one thing for sure — no one knows the name of Alec the chicken.

When a British naval officer, Captain Phillip Morgan, is shot dead outside HMS EXCALIBUR naval base in Scotland, the news of his friend’s death is relayed to Riley. Phillip’s last words were to his sister, Claire, who was there when he was shot. Phillip tells her she should contact Riley. Unknown to them, Phillip posted two discs containing the Sesame code, which is the key to the investigation into Phillip’s death — and the main mystery in the story.

Moth to the Flame


Glasgow police are trying to solve the murder of two women. Evidence includes a computer hard drive the police believe belongs to the man who strangled them. While the main police in Glasgow (led by Detective Chief Inspector McGrath) do their part in solving the crime, the police CCD (Computer Crime Department), headed by Detective Chief Inspector Eustace Silver, have to find out what they can about the computer evidence. Silver hires Guy Hunter, a freelance cyber sleuth, to help with the investigation which causes the killer to target Hunter too.

Guy Hunter discovers that the HERO computer in Glasgow (which is the police’s main source of intelligence and information) has been compromised. The murderer has hacked into the system and is altering the data to cover his crimes. He plans to kill three young women as proof that he can literally get away with murder. He then intends to sell this ability to high powered criminals willing pay a lot of money to have their crime evidence altered.
